Where architecture, design and everyday life meet, spaces emerge that reveal our personality – and visibly express how we want to live. The latest issue of BEST LIVING explores this trend from various angles: from sophisticated living concepts and fresh ideas for outdoor spaces to places that inspire and broaden our horizons. A glance at Cape Town illustrates just how closely design and lifestyle are intertwined: there, a culture of living influenced by art and design is taking shape, uniquely combining openness, naturalness and individuality (from page 70). The interplay between space and artistic expression also plays a central role in our cover feature: architect Dara Huang presents her London townhouse, where living, working and art come together in a creative symbiosis (from page 26). If you’re thinking about a new home yourself or looking for a secluded holiday home, our newly curated selection of exclusive properties in the best locations in Germany and Europe is definitely worth discovering (from page 79).
